Though I opened a few schools and self defense programs in the years after I was in the service there were some obstacles and a goal to further my education in the works as well.

 

November of 1999 I was picked up by Apple Computers and that afforded me the option to start training in the evenings.

 

PHOENIX EYE DRAGON CLAW DOJO was born and I officially opened a school and trained at first out of a local church and later out of my garage and eventually moved into shared martial arts academy in North Austin.

 

Focused primarily on the original Okinawan Karate but with a great deal of realistic and applied training.
